Who We Are
Hi, my name is Laureen Vassallo. My husband, Matt, and I founded Shirts & Stones (formerly The Decal World) in 2008. We were high school teachers prior to starting a business, teaching Physical Education at Lakewood Ranch High School and Florida Virtual School. We are grateful for our time as teachers in this community, and the connections we made during that time helped us launch our dream of starting our own business.
Since 2008, we’ve worked closely with the schools, clubs, leagues, businesses, and organizations in Bradenton, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, and the surrounding community. We’re glad for the opportunity to remain involved in the community we were raised in and have grown to love and appreciate and believe the services we offer will continue to increase and strengthen the bonds within our area.
